Welcome to North-East Martial Arts Fitness & Fun.  We teach the art of Isshin-Ryu (ish-shin-roo) Karate developed on the island of  Okinawa.  Our Main Goal is to teach the three R’s:  Respect for Oneself, Responsibility for One’s Actions, and Respect for Others. Other program Goals are Physical Fitness, Life Skills and Self-Defense.  Please check  our website for more information:  NORTH-EASTMARTIALARTS.COM.

To achieve success in any sport, endeavor or task, we must maintain a high level of personal self-confidence.   Martial arts training develops mental strength, physical strength, stronger focus skills, thus, giving the student a more harmonious attitude in their approach to life.

Our program, includes 4 Sessions (8 weeks in duration), with each Session meeting weekly, on Tuesday. Mrs. Wallen will schedule make-up classes on Thursday’s on a TBA basis.  The classes are divided into Beginner and Advanced.  You must be invited by Mrs. Wallen to attend the Advanced Class.  Your child's participation in Karate will automatically renewed for the next session, unless you notify Mrs. Wallen and Mrs. Tsemberlis at the end of the session that you do not want your child to participate.

All students are required to purchase and wear a uniform (gi) from North-East Martial Arts.  As a student progresses in their karate training, they will be required to purchase appropriate equipment directly from Mrs. Wallen.  Parents will be notified of the cost of all equipment and must authorize all purchases, prior to equipment being given to your child.
