Witness a hot water genie while learning the properties of heat and heat transfer. Change the states of matter and take home a temperature-sensitive card that reacts to hot hands!
 
Optical Illusions
Build your own periscope while learning about optics, reflection and sight. Watch celebrity images change before your very eyes! Seeing is not always believing!
 
Sonic Sounds
Discover sound, sound waves and the way household items can be used to create amazing movie effects. Students complete the class with their Sonic Horn take-homes!
 
Tantalizing Taste
Experiment with taste sensations while "mapping" out your tongue. Use Life Saver testing to compare your sense of smell and taste. Carbonate and taste your very own soda pop and take the "Mad Science" taste challenge. The take-home for this class is a Scratch 'n Match sniff game.
 
Mineral Mania
Lots of rocks, gems and minerals, children will be geologists! Travel to the center of the earth and find out what is at the core of our planet. This is an explosive class complete with a volcano! We will finish up by panning for gems you can take home and investigate.
