Fifth Grade is the first year of the Upper School at Hilltop Country Day School. There is a marked emphasis on organization and study skills. Students begin to move from the concrete concepts of the Lower School to the abstract and conceptual understanding that is essential to high school work. Students choose a language of study in Fifth Grade and also take part in student government.
