The Hilltop third grade is an academically challenging environment where students are drawn together into a community of learners. Third Grade is a year where student maturity contributes to a strong teacher student relationship in the classroom. There is a focus on self-esteem building and self-expression as well as self-respect and respect for others. This helps foster a greater sense of belonging and community responsibility. Third Grade is an important year in the transition between the teacher guided classrooms and the independent and self-sufficient classroom. Our students are held responsible for their own work and their own environment.
