Jessica Wilm Named January Student of the Month
Hilltop Country Day School is pleased to announce that Jessica Wilm ’17 was chosen by the faculty and staff of Hilltop Country Day School to be Student of the Month for January.
Nominations are solicited from all faculty and staff for Upper School students, grades 5-8, who have exhibited exceptional academic success in all of their classes during the month, and who have also modeled the school’s Core Values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Kindness.
“We feel it is important to recognize not only the academic success of our students, but also highlight those who are leaders of our school community and model the qualities and characteristics that we value and work hard to instill in our students,” said Head of School Peter Gordon.
Jessica was chosen not only for being a top-notch student who maintains an A average in all of her subjects, but also for her commitment to living the school’s Core Values, especially that of Kindness.
“Jessica was particularly welcoming to the students recently visiting from China, making sure that they was included in the Ski Club activities,” one nomination read. “With a spirit of ambassadorship, Jessica made sure that our guests had a sense belonging. These friendly gestures to a visitor, along with her interactions with all of her peers and teachers, make her a fine example of Hilltop’s pride in our students.
Congratulations to Jessica on this wonderful honor!
