Save Your Egg Cartons

They are awesome for sorting small objects, counting activities, craft projects and paint palettes!

Clear, Plastic Shower Curtains

You can find these at any dollar store.  I always kept a supply at home and still do in my classroom.  They make the best drop cloths, messy mats, and table covers. We also use them for shaving cream play,  pouring activities, and finger painting directly on the surface.

Clear, Plastic Over-the-Door Shoe Organizer.

Those fabulous pockets are useful in the playroom, pantry or bedroom.  In the playroom, use the lower pockets for items that you want your child to be able to reach like markers, crayons, tape, stickers, playdough and glue sticks.  Use the higher pockets for scissors and  liquid glue.

Frozen Juice Box Ice Packs

Frozen juice boxes and water bottles make awesome ice packs for lunches. They defrost and remain cold until lunch time!

Coffee Filters

Round, traditional coffee filters are inexpensive and useful with toddlers and young children. Use for snacks, cooking ingredients and craft supplies.
