Amy Covucci graduated in 1981, the first class to graduate eighth grade from Hilltop. She went on to become an Optometrist and also enrolled her daughter Mia at Hilltop.

The smaller class sizes.

Nurturing because the teachers really care and have a vested interest in student success.

Being a journalist for the Hilltop Newspaper.
From your own experiences, why do you believe it was important for you to attend Hilltop Country Day School?
Hilltop gave me the sense of inquiry and discovery that led me to want to become a doctor. The school encourages its students to ask questions, take risks and even experience failure on the road to success and growth.
In what ways did Hilltop Country Day School prepare you for high school and college?
I acquired the best study and thinking habits which propelled my higher learning.
What would you tell a friend to encourage them to consider Hilltop Country Day School?
The overall feeling that your child is getting the best education available. I decided to enroll my daughter at Hilltop because I know the small class size would facilitate her creativity. As an alumni I remember the nurturing environment and felt that was exactly what she needed. She loves Hilltop and Scott and I couldn’t be more satisfied with her experience thus far.
